Grants to California youth-related charities to benefit underserved children in eligible regions. Funding is intended to support the purchase of essential capital items. Qualifying applicants are small-size organizations with relatively small budgets. Eligible proposals aim to improve the lives of needy children in Los Angeles County.
We Benefit Children (WBC) is a force for good across greater Los Angeles. For over 35 years, WBC has been supporting youth in need by providing direct services and supporting projects with its community partners.
We Benefit Children (WBC) is an incubator for charities that are doing great things but are too small to garner the attention of most donors or foundations. WBC aims to help these charities grow so they no longer need support.
Children’s charities throughout Los Angeles County whose annual budget does not exceed $500,000 are eligible to apply.

The request may not be for operating funds.
Pre-Application Information
2025 Grant Applications must be received no later than June 30, 2025.
Selected charities are invited to make a presentation to the full membership of WBC, who then decide what charities receive funding and how much they will receive.
Charities must wait for two years before applying for a new grant.
