Grants and in-kind services to USA and territories colleges and universities to assist students in the development of technological innovations with market potential. Funding is intended to support engineering or science-based innovations that have a positive impact on the world, are commercially promising, and are scalable. Funds, training, immersive workshops, and specialized coaching are provided to student innovators and entrepreneurs to help move their inventions into the marketplace.

Grants to Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania nonprofit organizations, tribes, and local and state government agencies to improve local water quality in eligible regions. All applicants must demonstrate how they will lower total phosphorus contributions to the Great Lakes basin or otherwise reduce the effects of sediment and nutrients. Applicants can submit proposals associated with either agricultural non-point or shoreline or streambanks. Eligible projects must be located within the United States portion of the Great Lakes basin.

Opportunity for USA and Japan scholars to participate in a fellowship exchange program related to advancing biomedical and bioengineering research. The purpose of the fellowship program is to advance the careers of early-stage researchers and support groundbreaking science in US and Japanese research labs.

Grants of $1,000 to USA nonprofit community-based organizations for activities that support local children. Funding is intended to benefit children under the age of 18. Eligible organizations align with one of the following areas of interest: education, welfare, health, and aid to children. Grants may be requested for any purpose related to providing benefits for children but preference will be given to those funding children’s programming.

Grants of up to $500 and in-kind services to qualifying USA women entrepreneurs to enhance business success and personal wellbeing. The program offers direct financial support, as well as coaching, tools, and resources to promote self-care. The goal of the program is to help women-led businesses overcome challenges, achieve sustainable growth, or pivot during critical times—all while maintaining their wellbeing. Eligible applicants must be the CEO or founder within the company.

Grants of $20,000 to USA women’s shelters to provide services and support to women and children who have experienced abusive situations. Funding is intended to assist organizations that work to provide a safe, violence-free environment for abuse survivors. The goal of the grant program is to help to empower women so that they can live a life free from abuse.

Award to a USA, Canada, or International nonprofit organization to recognize outstanding efforts toward alleviating human suffering. The purpose of this award is to honor and advance the recipient organization’s efforts and call attention to the global need for humanitarian aid, thereby encouraging others to expand their support.

Grants of $5,000 to USA small businesses to enhance their impact in communities and promote growth and development. Eligible applicants have impacted communities in a variety of ways, including but not limited to creating jobs, introducing innovative products, and improving access to services and products. Preference is for business enterprises operating for at least one year and for those that are making a considerable impact in communities of color or underrepresented communities.

Grants of $500 to USA, Canada, and International artists to create art depicting different aspects of nature. Applicants are required to contact the funding source to receive an application. Artwork may be produced in any type of medium, including painting, sculpture, photography, and digital art. Priority will be given to artwork submitted by artists from underrepresented communities and regions, as well as applicants from places or countries where there is a lack of funding available to artists.

Grants to USA and Canada organizations for initiatives to improve healthcare for underserved communities. Eligible organizations align themselves with one of the following areas of interest: cancer prevention, advancing crisis preparedness and response, and increasing diverse representation within the medical profession. The Foundation's mission is to remove barriers to quality healthcare across North America, especially for vulnerable and underserved communities.

Grants to USA researchers at academic institutions for research projects related to swine health. Collaborative projects are highly encouraged. Funding is intended for research projects that will minimize the threat of disease in the herd, analyze data, and coordinate communications between stakeholders.

Grants of up to $40,000 to USA nonprofit organizations to offer free financial guidance and services to underserved populations. Funding is intended to develop new programming and enhance existing programs. The goal of the grant program is to help vulnerable community members through one-on-one pro bono financial planning sessions. In addition, the Alexandra Armstrong Innovation Grant will be awarded to a nonprofit organization that demonstrates creativity and potential for impact in its programming.

Grants to USA researchers affiliated with nonprofit institutions to support cancer research. Funding is intended for projects that find new treatments or cures. Eligible applicants are post-doctoral researchers. Priority will be given to researchers who are new to the field of cancer research, or to established research investigators examining new approaches to cancer cures.

In-kind donations to USA nonprofit organizations of high-quality drinkware. Requests are welcome from organizations working to develop, enhance, and increase accessibility to parks, beaches, and green spaces. The funding source will donate new water bottles to be used as rewards for participation or stakeholder engagement.

Opportunity for a USA artist or artist team to create a piece of art to be featured in a Louisiana university building. The selected piece will blend with its surroundings, complement the building's architecture, and reflect the themes of the building's purpose. Eligible uses of funds include research, installation, materials, and consultation with professionals. The art installation will be located in the atrium of the New Student Success Center at Louisiana State University Alexandria (LSUA).

Awards to USA, Canada, and International authors for nonfiction books on Jewish subjects. In addition to the $5,000 cash prize, winners will receive marketing and promotion assistance and customized support. Awards are available for books that have recently been published or are soon to be published, involving themes such as rein­vent­ing Jew­ish life and com­mu­ni­ty for the twen­ty-first cen­tu­ry, shift­ing notions of indi­vid­ual and collec­tive Jew­ish iden­ti­ty, the his­to­ry and future of Israel, and the evolv­ing rela­tion­ship between Israel and world Jewry.

Opportunity for USA, Canada, and International musicians, architects, writers, and visual artists to participate in a residency program in Austria. The purpose of the residency is to promote an exchange of ideas and to provide a venue for international artists to exhibit their work. Residencies will take place in Krems an der Donau, Austria.

In-kind grants valued at up to $30,000 to USA government agencies, qualified nonprofit organizations, and bike clubs for the development of trail systems designed for bikes. Grantees will receive planning and consultation services that will advance projects that create, enhance and protect great places to ride mountain bikes. Qualified nonprofits are those that actively manage parks and trails.

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations in multiple states for programs and projects to improve the quality of life of families and individuals in communities where the funding source has a business presence. Funding is intended for healthcare, education, and community well-being. The funding source has a business presence in Allegan, Kent, and Ottawa Counties, Michigan; Bronx County, New York; Franklin County, Vermont; Hennepin County, Minnesota; Miami County, Ohio; Orange County and City of Charlottesville, Virginia; and Spartanburg County, South Carolina.

Grants of up to $10,000 to USA, Canada, and Mexico nonprofit organizations, colleges and universities, government agencies, and laboratories to cover expenses related to conferences, scientific meetings, and workshops that address aging. Funding is intended to support activities that reflect the Foundation's mission to drive efforts to extend healthy human lifespan and understand the processes of aging.
